Dorade is a famous 52ft yacht, one of the best deigns from Olin Stephens of S&S. Launched in 1930 it was one of the fastest boats of its time and even today able to win in compensated time the last TransPac leaving behind some more modern boats, but being beaten in real time for example by a First 40 and a X41.
